Yet each time they are kind to you, or they compliment you, you come up with other reasons for what they say, such as "they're just being polite." You are far too hard on yourself. You often overlook the many virtues you possess. The next time you are complimented, don't assume it's empty flattery. Take it to heart and use it to build your confidence.
